Christiane Woodley Erwin, President & CEO
After more than a decade consulting for startups on e-commerce and web design, Christiane applied her technical expertise, leadership skills, marketing prowess and entrepreneurial spirit to Crestview Doors to make it one of the fastest growing wood products companies in the U.S. Christiane holds a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from St. Edward's University where she was awarded the Presidential Award for Service, Leadership and Scholarship for having maintained a 4.0 grade-point average while volunteering for West Austin Caregivers and raising two children as a single mother. Now married with four children, Christiane continues to volunteer in the community and speaks at conferences nationwide on subjects ranging from entrepreneurship to social media marketing while overseeing the growth and success of Crestview.
David Erwin, Vice President
As Vice President at Crestview, David applies more than 20 years of design and marketing experience to advise on the research, development and improvement of Crestview's products, production methodologies and marketing efforts. David's passion for art and architecture and extreme attention to detail and quality inspired this family business to grow into a high-performance production facility and a suite of products that have been featured on HGTV and A&E, in magazines such as Dwell, Atomic Ranch and a Professional Remodeler, and online via Apartment Therapy, Design Milk and more.
Stephanie Rogers, Director of Sales and Customer Service
Stephanie's photo, at the top of every page of our website, often elicits the question, "Is that a real person?" Crestview's first official employee, Stephanie has been with Crestview since our inception in 2007 and prides herself on being responsible for ensuring that Crestview offers the best customer service in the industry. Having assumed multiple roles with the company over the years as it has grown, from office management to sales, Stephanie has the most intimate knowledge of all aspects of our products and services and is, as we call her, the heart of our company. Prior to her tenure with Crestview, Stephanie launched and continues to co-own NavelleAnn Photography, specializing in portrait photography for weddings, senior portraits, newborns and other monumental life events.
Gregory Staples, Production Manager
Greg joined the Crestview team in 2012 after more than 15 years of construction industry experience, including a decade of creating finely-crafted cabinetry and custom furniture for clients around Central Texas. In addition to his experience as a craftsman, Greg brought to his position as Production Manager time spent supervising cabinetry installation, lumber and plywood sales, quality control, scheduling, and warehouse management for Parrish, Masco and others. Greg leads the Production team to increase efficiency in the workshop without sacrificing Crestview's commitment to quality craftsmanship, continuously working to improve our products and processes.
Melodye Gatling, General & Accounting, Manager
Overseeing general day-to-day operations as well as accounting and legal for Crestview is Melodye Gatling, a long-time independent accounting professional bringing 30 years of experience working with companies in the manufacturing and financial industries. While part-owner at West Technologies, a technology consulting company, Melodye grew the company until it was recognized as one of the largest MWBEs in Central Texas. Melodye's communication, management and organizational skills are crucial to continuous improvement in every aspect of our business.
Emily Belyea, Marketing Coordinator
As a freelance professional with a degree in MarCom from Emerson College, Emily traveled the world to supply small business owners and bloggers with personalized branding and graphic design services before settling down at Crestview. As Marketing Coordinator, Emily manages the company's marketing, public relations, social media, advertising and identity, and represents the company at social and marketing trade events including those sponsored through the Home Builder's Association, Texas Association of Builders, National Association of the Remodeling Industry and more.
Laura Sau, Production Assistant
A graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Laura put her Architecture degree to the test before joining the Crestview Crew. As a site supervisor for Habitat for Humanity, at one time she juggled three simultaneous builds, from hands-on demolition and construction to training volunteers. Not only does Laura have experience with computer-aided drafting and design, she even spent time as a resident artist for Boston's House of Blues, creating hand-drawn art from various mixed media. Laura's diverse background shows both an appreciation for the fine arts and superior critical thinking skills, both of which she applies to handcrafting doors and millwork as well as operating the CNC at Crestview.
Khiem Nguyen, Production Assistant
After graduating from the Massachusetts College of Art and showing his work at various art exhibitions, Khiem moved to Austin where he worked as a professional cabinetmaker and freelance woodworker. Khiem brought his experience in custom framing, furniture making, and cabinetry to Crestview, along with a strong background and appreciation for the fine arts. At Crestview, Khiem is able to exercise his artistic sensibilities and utilize his passion for making fine goods from ecologically-friendly raw materials.
Mason Baker, Production Assistant
Mason honed his carpentry skills as a Master Carpenter and Technical Director for various production companies in and around Austin, including Salvage Vanguard Theater, the University of Texas, Texas Performing Arts and the American Ballet Theater. Mason has seen Crestview through various stages of growth, adapting to a quickly changing environment and ever greater pressure to provide the highest quality products to a discerning client list that includes NBC Studios, the Tribeca Grand Hotel, Kerbey Lane Cafe, and more.
